Kaizer Chiefs have announced the appointment of Burundian Cedric Kaze as assistant coach to Nasreddine Nabi.
Kaze is reunited with Nabi whom he previously assisted at Tanzanian giants Young Africans.
“Coach Cedric has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of the game throughout his coaching career,” Kaizer Chiefs sporting director Kaizer Motaung Jnr told the club website.
“His familiarity with coach Nabi’s methods and their proven partnership will be invaluable as we aim for excellence on the pitch.”
Kaze brings some wealth of experience to Chiefs, having previously worked with the FC Barcelona academy for two and half years.
He was also a youth football coach in Canada and also worked in his native Burundi, Rwanda and Tanzania.
Chiefs visit Supersport United in the Carling Knockout Cup at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. Kick-off is 8pm on Saturday.
