The 2024/25 Carling Knockout Cup quarter-final draw took place on Sunday evening after the Round of 16 match between Richards Bay and Sekhukhune United.
There will be another exciting clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns as they were drawn against each other in the last eight.
Chiefs walloped SuperSport United 4-0, while Sundowns ran riot over Golden Arrows beating them 5-0.
Magesi FC survived a late Orlando Pirates onslaught to secure a 3-2 victory, while defending champions Stellenbosch FC started their cup defence with a 2-1 win over AmaZulu.
Cape Town City scored three unanswered goals against Royal AM, and Marumo Gallants outfit shocked Polokwane City 3-2 in Limpopo.
On Sunday afternoon at Mbombela Stadium, TS Galaxy narrowly beat Chippa United 1-0 while the last team to seal their last eight spot, Richards Bay after holding off Sekhukhune United to come away with a 1-0 win.
