Cole Palmer has signed a new contract with Chelsea Football Club which keeps him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2034.
It continues Chelsea’s recent drive to tie down their key existing talent — with captain Reece James, midfielder Moises Caicedo, forward Joao Pedro and winger Pedro Neto also prolonging their deals in 2026.
Palmer has scored four goals and provided two assists in seven matches this season.
“Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy,” Palmer said.
He has provided 91 goal contributions in 138 appearances, won the FIFA Club World Cup and UEFA Conference League, while claiming an array of individual awards.
The 24-year-old has also made history on the international stage, becoming only the second England player to score in a European Championship final when he netted against Spain at Euro 2024.
Chelsea, 10th in the Premier League standings, host 17th-placed Bournemouth later on Saturday.
Chelsea coach Xabi Alonso confirmed Palmer is expected to be available for the Bournemouth clash and insisted he remains committed to playing for England.
“Absolutely. He’s committed, but he needs to be fully fit to play,” Alonso said.
“And when he’s fully fit, he will enjoy his minutes. We need him in that moment. The club and the national team. He trained over the past week and has been feeling better, but we didn’t want to rush him.”
