Armindo Joaquim Pacula accused of killing Warrick ‘DJ Warras’ Stock, has entered into a plea agreement with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
Stock was fatally shot on 16 December outside a building near the Carlton Centre in Johannesburg’s Central Business District (CBD).
Pacula and Victor Mthethwa Majola were charged in connection with the murder of Stock. According to the South African Police Services (SAPS), Majola is said to be the mastermind, while Pacula was the hitman in exchange for R25 000.
Pacula pleaded guilty to charges of murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and contravening the Immigration Act.
The Gauteng High Court sentenced Pacula to 25 years for murder, eight years for illegal firearm possession, six months for ammunition possession and 12 months for violating the Immigration Act.
The sentences will run concurrently, resulting in an effective 25-year imprisonment term.
NPA Communications Officer Magaboke Mohlatlole confirmed the plea agreement was settled following consultation with the Stock family.
He said, the NPA has welcomed the sentencing.”
Mohlatlole said the sentence reaffirms NPA’s commitment to ensuring that perpetrators of violent crimes are held accountable.
Majola, however, remains before the court and is still facing the allegations against him. His case will proceed separately.
His matter was postponed August 17, 2026, for the conclusion of the pre-trial conference.
Stock was involved in various business ventures, including private security, providing elite guarding and VIP protection services and securing high-profile events across the country.
