Another Kwaito star Brian Majola who was best known as Bruno has sadly passed away. He was better known for his appearance on etv daily soapie, Rhythm City which has since been discontinued.
Majola’s family has confirmed his passing.
In the early 2000s, Bruno was in the Kwaito duo Gumshev with Fisto.
When his acting career took off, he spoke openly about growing up around the wrong crowd and being arrested for robbery and sentenced to five years in prison.
When he was released from prison, he signed a record deal with Ghetto Ruff, now Muthaland, and released albums Straight Out Of Prison and Sthandu Cash.
He later started his own production company, Jamshack Records.
Majola went on to work with some of the best music producers and artists including MXO, Pitch Black Afro, Malik, Amu, Pro Kid, DJ Cleo, Zola, Ishmael, Bongani Fassie, Donald, Morafe, Da LES, Brown Dash, Mapaputsi, 985, Imbube, Drenko and many others.
His death comes as shock to the Kwaito family which lost one of its biggest stars Tokollo “Magesh” Tshabalala on Monday morning. The Tkzee group legend was found dead in his house and it is believed he may have died in his sleep following epileptic seizure.
