Four robbery suspects have been shot dead at an Edenvale shopping centre in Gauteng.
They allegedly robbed a store at the Stoneridge Centre before a shootout with law enforcement.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says paramedics found four men, believed to be suspects, lying inside a vehicle riddled with bullet holes.
“Medics assessed the men and found that they had succumbed to their numerous gunshot wounds. Nothing could be done for them, and they were declared dead.”
Another suspect was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
“The man was treated and provided with advanced life support before he was transported, under the supervision of the SAPS to a nearby hospital.
“This incident’s details are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigation.”
