The retailers, businesses and various brands are making the most of voting day to reward those with a black ink marked left thumb.
On Wednesday, voters can get a free coffee or a hot chocolate at some restaurants, while others are offering a free alcoholic drink.

If you need a ride to your voting station and back home, some users can get 35% off a trip.
“We’re committed to helping to ensure that transport isn’t a barrier to making your mark,” UBER SA said.
“If you’re up early enough, punch ‘VOTESA24’ into the promotion code field of your Uber app, and it’ll automatically apply the 35% discount to your next two trips. Rides must be over R40 per trip to participate in the promotion. The platform’s regular Ts & Cs still apply.”
