In South Africa, approximately 7.6 million households in the country are female-headed. This places a significant responsibility on women to not only provide financial means for their families but also to care for children and manage households. Despite global efforts towards gender equality and women’s empowerment, investment literacy and female participation in financial sectors still lag.
Recognising this crucial need to bridge the investment gap, the #JSESheInvests will provide engaging content, expert insights and practical solutions to educate South African women about financial literacy, investment strategies and the paramount importance of economic inclusion. By equipping women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed investment decisions, they will feel confident to take control of their finances and secure wealth for themselves and future generations.
