Kaizer Chiefs unveil former Portugal-based defender Shinga.

Kaizer Chiefs have officially announced the signing of 25-year-old Nkanyiso Shinga in a move that will bolster their squad ahead of the new season.

Shinga’s signing bolsters the left-back position following the departure of Mozambican international Edmilson Dove.

The club officially announced his arrival on Tuesday, confirming that the KwaZulu-Natal academy product will wear the jersey number 74.

A statement from Amakhosi reads: “We are pleased to announce the signing of 25-year-old Nkanyiso Shinga. The talented left-back is a versatile operator who can also play in midfield and attack. He will don jersey 74. Welcome to the Family.”

Shinga joins Chiefs from Alverca in Portugal’s Lisbon district, the club he joined at the start of the 2024/25 season.

Chiefs also confirmed the signing of Portuguese striker Flavio Silva from Persebaya Surabaya, a club in Indonesia and Ethen Chislett.

In addition to Shinga, Silva, Surabaya,and Chislett Fullview learnt that Chiefs signed Paseka Mako, Ethan Chislett, Thabiso Monyane with official announcements for these players expected imminently.
