Kaizer Chiefs youngsters beat Sundowns to win Engen Knockout.

Kaizer Chiefs u19’s beat Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties after a 1-1 draw to win the Engen Knockout Challenge on Sunday.

The two sides, rivals in the PSL, were center stage for Sunday’s final in front of a big crowd at Marks Park in Johannesburg.

Chiefs brought every member of their first team, including the technical team and management to show support for the U19 side which is coached by Donald ‘Ace’ Khuse.

Amakhosi were the first to score through Thulani Mabaso in the first half but Masandawana retaliated with a goal of their own in the second half.

The game ended in a 1-1 draw after 50 minutes of football played, and the winner had to be decided on penalties where Chiefs edged out Sundowns.
