Media personality Lamiez Holworthy-Morule has been hospitalised and undergone an emergency surgical procedure.
The nature of the medical procedure has not been disclosed.
“We would like to inform the fans, clients, event promoters, partners and stakeholders of Lamiez Holworthy that she was rushed to hospital and required an emergency surgical procedure,” her management, Brand Arc Team said.
Brand Arc Team said, the condition is not life-threatening. However, the procedure means she will miss scheduled performances on Sunday, 9 August and on Monday, 10 August 2026.
“Management has apologised to event promoters, organisers, clients, and partners for the sudden disruption and assured that all affected parties will be contacted to reschedule bookings once Holworthy has fully recovered.
“Management will contact affected parties and will issue revised dates for bookings once Lamiez has been medically cleared to resume her professional commitments,” it added.
The team has asked the public for prayers and requested that her privacy be respected as she focuses on recovery.
