The section 194 inquiry into suspended public protector Busisiwe Mkhweban’s fitness to hold office continues with the testimony of Public Protector investigator Bianca Mvuyana.
Advocate Dali Mpofu SC, on Mkhwebane’s behalf, asks if there would be any point to doing an investigation if you are bound by other investigation’s reports.
Mvuyana agrees with Mpofu.
“Well, we hope then that the committee will learn something from that approach,” says Mpofu.
Mpofu is now postulating that the inquiry has a predetermined outcome.
