Late Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana star Motjeka Madisha is being laid to rest in Ga-Madisha in Zebediela following his tragic death in a car accident near Kempton last December.
Madisha played his final Mamelodi Sundowns match in their 3-0 DStv Premiership win over Stellenbosch FC on 28 November 2020. The match was his 99th domestic appearance for the Brazilians. .
In those 99 matches, Madisha scored three goals.
He also played 24 matches and scored three goals in the CAF Champions League bringing his total for Mamelodi Sundowns to 123 matches and six goals.
Motjeka Madisha represented South Africa at all age group levels and played seven matches for Bafana Bafana scoring one goal which came in the 3-0 victory over Botswana in the 2018 COSAFA Cup.
