The IEC says the special voting weekend has gone off successfully, despite a shaky start.
On Saturday, some stations opened late while voter turnout was low.
On Sunday, however, seems to have gone largely without a glitch but some IEC staff say they fear for their lives, and there are allegations of vote-rigging in the Plettenburg Bay area.
The IEC is now briefing the media from the National Results Centre about its state of readiness for the elections.
