Fresh from winning Best R&B/Soul Album at the 2026 South African Music Awards (SAMA32), lordkez returns with a new single, “4SHO,” featuring hip-hop heavyweight Kwesta.
‘4SHO’ also follows the success of lordkez’s single ‘Aweh’, which was the most-played song across South African radio stations between September and December 2025, according to the information provided.
The track has since been certified Gold, while the ‘Aweh [Remix]’, featuring Cassper Nyovest, has achieved Double Platinum status.
The new track brings lordkez together with Kwesta, one of South Africa’s established hip-hop artists.
The collaboration combines her contemporary R&B approach with Kwesta’s hip-hop style.
Built for summer, “4SHO” is rooted in what lordkez describes as “Neo Nostalgia”, her signature approach to blending the warmth and familiarity of classic R&B with contemporary African sounds and modern songwriting.
The collaboration brings together two generations of South African music: one of the continent’s fastest-rising R&B artists alongside an established African hip-hop heavyweight.
For lordkez, “4SHO” also represents another step in a remarkable period of growth and recognition.
With “Aweh” having already demonstrated her ability to connect with audiences worldwide across streaming and locally on South African radio, “4SHO” signals the beginning of the next chapter.
