Mzansi’s finest Nomcebo Zikode brought the house down as she closed yesterday’s high-profile Business Forum at the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Nomcebo was the only featured performer & closing act at “Inspire & Connect” Business Forum. This forum is one of the major events forming part of the Africa Forward Summit 2026.

The summit has attracted more than 1 500 business leaders, innovators, CEOs and investors from across Africa and France. They are there to discuss investment opportunities, technology, sustainable development, and economic partnerships between the two continents.

She mesmerized delegates, business leaders, investors, and dignitaries with her signature vocals and commanding stage presence as the only performer. In a standout moment, French President Emmanuel Macron joined her on stage.

“I am honoured to close this important gathering and share South Africa’s musical spirit with our brothers and sisters across Africa and France” – says the Grammy Winner.

Nomcebo’s performance underscored the critical role of culture and creativity in strengthening economic ties. She joins an all-star lineup of African artists for tomorrow evening’s official Africa Forward Le Concert tonight (12 May 2026) at Kasarani Indoor Arena.
