Meet the ‘Big Brother Mzansi season 4 contestants.

The highly anticipated Big Brother Mzansi Season 4 kicked off last night with a thrilling premiere, introducing viewers to the 23 housemates competing for the grand prize of R2 million.

The reality show will unfold over 70 days, with the grand finale set for March 31, 2024.

The premiere night featured performances from Mzansi’s finest artists like DJ and producer Tyler ICU ft Tumelo.za, Leemackrazy & Khaul Anderson, and Kamo Mphela.

Seasoned TV host Lawrence Maleka carried out his duties as the presenter of the show and introduced the housemates starting with Makhekhe.

Here’s a glimpse into some of the intriguing personalities in the Big Brother house:

  1. BravoB: Self-acclaimed councilor of the Bhinca nation, dressed in a navy safari suit and Zulu headpiece. 
  2. Sinaye: Embracing traditional wear with a black and white two-piece and a matching beaded headpiece. 
  3. Mcjunior: Clarified his fear of small holes (Trypophobia).
  4. Yolanda: Set a high fashion bar in a pink mini skirt, silver thigh-high boots, and a sequin cropped jacket. 
  5. Mpumi: Rocked a revealing pink short dress, adding to the trend of pink outfits in the house.
  6. Pale: Opted for a royal blue long dress
  7. Mali: Made a bold statement in a bright red mini dress with a long tail and matching thigh-high boots.
  8. Willy and Jareed: Showed some outfit symmetry, giving a coordinated appearance.
  9. Young Pappi: Flaunted an eccentric outfit with the host exploring the meaning behind his name.
  10. Liema: Gave a twist to the pink trend with a flared mini and high-heeled strappy sandals.
  11. Mich: Stepped out looking like a character from a ’90s R&B album cover in a mustard three-piece baggy suit.
  12. Sammy_M: Wore bright orange and felt a bit awkward when questioned about the contents of her handbag.
  13. Meelay: Promised to bring drama, sass, and everything nice.
  14. Zee: Looked cute in an all-baby blue two-piece.
  15. Chuenzaaa: Charmed the hosts with their blonde wig and all-red look.
  16. Lerato Modise: Stood out in a wedding dress, describing herself as a cultural provocateur and instigator.
  17. PapaGhost: Wore a unique white suit with lace pants and a silk scarf.
  18. Els: Gagged viewers with a play on Zulu traditional dress.

Disruptors: At the end of the show, Lawrence unveiled three disruptors who will bring an additional twist to the game.
