The MTN8 final clash between Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The final will be played on Saturday, 7 October 2023.
Pirates booked their place in the final despite losing to Stellenbosch FC in the second leg of the second semi-final.
They took a 2-1 advantage into the game, but were stunned in the 22nd minute when an Iqraam Rayners shot was deflected into the back of the net.
The goal was credited as a Zakhele Lepasa own goal, but it didn’t do any damage to Pirates chances.
Sundowns meanwhile also booked their place in the final after they beat Kaizer Chiefs 3-2 on aggregate.
The Brazilllians won the second leg 2-1 thanks to a Peter Shalulile brace. The Namibian took just 10 seconds to open the scoring for his side as he charged down Brandon Peterson and finished from a tight angle.
The game was not without drama as Chiefs had a late penalty shout waived play on by the referee.
