The chairperson of the Select Committee on Land Reform Tebogo Modise has offered her condolences to Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Minister Thoko Didiza on the death of her mother, Asiane Ntombenhle Msane.
“On behalf of the committee, (I) extend heartfelt condolences to Minister Didiza’s family and friends. We are with the family during this very difficult and sad time [after] the loss of [their] dear mother, grandmother, and treasure of the family. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” said Modise.
Didiza’s spokesperson, Reggie Ngcobo said, Msane died last weekend at the age of 92 and was buried in Gauteng on Saturday.
“She died of natural causes. The minister got her love for farming from her mother, who was a small-scale farmer for many years,” Ngcobo added.
AFASA also send condolences to the Didiza family, after the news of the passing of Didiza’s mother.
The president, AJ Mthembu, on behalf of the AFASA organisation signed of on the below message, as soon as the news of the Didiza matriarch’s passing reached him on the 19th of September 2022.
“On behalf of AFASA members, we say it is our prayer that God will comfort you and your whole family during this time of grief. May He richly bless you as you mourn, and may the light of His presence be a continual source of consolation”‘
Born in Hamasford in Mpumalanga, leaves behind her three children, with Didiza being the youngest.
