Former Crystal Palace manager Patrick Viera is set to be appointed as the new manager of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
BBC Sport reported that, Vieira will sign a three-year contract, with the deal to be finalised on Sunday.
The ex-Arsenal midfielder has been out of work since his departure from Crystal Palace in March.
Vieira has experience of working in a multi-club group as he coached Manchester City’s development squad after retiring from playing and then went on to manage New York City FC, who are co-owned by City Football Group.
Strasbourg avoided relegation from Ligue 1 last season as they finished in 15th place but manager Frederic Antonetti, who only took charge in February, has now left the club.
Vieira has previously managed in Ligue 1 with Nice, with whom he won 35 out of 89 matches.
He then took charge of Palace in 2021 and was manager of the club for 74 games, during which he oversaw 22 victories, 25 draws and 27 defeats.
