The leading digital car insurance provider Pineapple has once again agreed to sponsor the broadcast rights for the Cricket World Cup on SABC, ensuring South Africans won’t miss a ball.
SABC clinched a last minute deal with pay channel Supersport to allow all South Africans to watch the Cricket World Cup.
The public broadcaster will broadcast all nine confirmed matches to be played by the Proteas team, as well as a semi-final, final and closing ceremony.

Ranked fourth in the ICC ODI rankings, South Africa entered the World Cup in India without expectations, considering their notorious history at ICC events.
Proteas impressed with their record-breaking start, posting the highest total in World Cup history as they scored 428 against Sri Lanka last Saturday.
Their next task will be against Australia on Thursday in Lucknow. The Aussies come off a loss to hosts India and will look to bounce back against the Proteas.
South Africa, meanwhile, hold a surprising ODI record against Australia, winning 54 ODIs compared to the 50 won by Australia.
