Orlando Pirates secured a convincing 2-0 victory against All-Stars in the Carling Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Pirates played the All Stars team without their key players, who are in camp for Bafana Bafana preparing for the AFCON in Morocco.
The opening exchanges were scrappy as both sides struggled to find rhythm, the score remained 0-0 at half time.
The deadlock was finally broken in the 68th minute as super-sub Sifiso Luthuli came off the bench to make it 1-0 for Pirates.
Another substitute in Boitumelo Radiopane got his name on the scoresheet in the 79th minute after outpacing the All-Stars defence before placing his effort in the bottom left corner to make it 2-0.
The victory marked another trophy win for head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and his charges after their Carling Knockout Cup last weekend.
