Puma becomes the latest manufacturer to unveil a batch of kits that its national teams will be wearing in the upcoming World Cup in USA next year.
On Wednesday, it released the new home shirts for all of its European teams: Portugal, Austria, Iceland and Switzerland.
The Portugal kit channels the energy of the ocean – the iconic red base is layered with a wavy pattern and green accents, a nod to the country’s maritime roots and fearless spirit. It’s a design that speaks to those who were born to explore and live to play por amor à camisola.
João Medeiros Cardoso, Chief Marketing & Commercial Officer Portugal FA, said: “This jersey carries the soul of Portugal, the strength of our ocean, the courage that defines us, and the pride of millions of Portuguese who live the national team with a unique emotion.”
The Home jersey is available in both Authentic and Replica versions. The Authentic jersey, worn by the players, is crafted with PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE fabric, designed to reduce weight and friction, ensuring elite-level performance. The Replica jersey offers the same striking design with a more relaxed fit, perfect for both game days and everyday wear. Both versions incorporate PUMA’s dryCELL sweat-wicking technology to keep fans and players dry and comfortable.
The Home jerseys will be available from 19 December at PUMA retail stores, PUMA.com, Totalsports, Takealot and Studio 88. Price R1599.
