SuperSport have secured the rights to broadcast the Bafana Bafana friendly international against France on Tuesday evening, with kick-off at 9:15pm CAT.
The match takes place in Lille, and comes on the back of SA’s 0-0 draw with Guinea on Friday night.
The game will be available on the Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family and Access packages. In SA the matches are on the PSL and Variety 4 channels, while in the rest of Africa it is on Football Plus.
Bafana Bafana will be hoping to secure a confidence-boosting win over France in Tuesday’s international friendly match at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
The game comes four days after coach Hugo Broos’ men drew 0-0 against Guinea in another friendly game.
Broos said he would make major changes to the team that started against Guinea, mentioning the names of Nyiko Mobbie and Fagrie Lakay.
Bafana Bafana have at least been able to quietly go about their business with minimal distraction in the picturesque surroundings of the suburb of Bondues in Lille in the last few days.
The suburb is about five kilometers away from the national team’s Mercure Hotel which has been home to the Senior Men’s national team for the past week or so. Situated in Marcq-en-Barœul, the friendly environment has enabled coach Hugo Broos’ side to get down to business in relative peace since arriving in France.
Local community club FC Bondues have taken great delight in opening their gates and welcoming the South Africans to the sprawling facility in a warm display of hospitality.
