After the CAF Champions League semi-final second leg match between Mamelodi Sundowns and ES Tunis Esperance had been temporarily suspended due to lightning at the stadium, players are now back on the pitch to warm up.

When lightning hit the stadium, with players visibly shocked, referee Issa Sy halted the game and sent both sets of players into the change room after 20 minutes.

At around 21:10, players of both teams returned to the pitch, as officials decided the game can go ahead after the lightning moved away from the stadium.

The game resumed from minute 21 in the coming minutes.

Sundowns had a chance from a tight angle through Peter Shalulile inside three minutes but it was saved by the ES Tunis goalkeeper Amenallah Memmiche.
