SuperSport United have confirmed the signing of winger Vincent Pule on a one-year deal with an option to renew.
“Pule was released by Orlando Pirates at the end of last season after limited game time. “SuperSport United FC is delighted to announce the signing of winger Vincent Pule on a one-year deal with an option to renew,” the club stated on Twitter.
The signing of Pule follows those of Nyiko Mobbie and Ricardo Goss, who joins on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 32-year-old links up with former coach Gavin Hunt, who he previously worked under at Bidvest Wits, as the club continues their bid to add some much-needed experience to their young squad.
Pule will be part of their travelling pre-season squad heading to Botswana ahead of his official unveiling with Matsatsansa.
He joined Orlando Pirates in the 2018/19 season and made 146 appearances, contributing to 35 goals (through goals and assists). During his time with the Soweto giants, Pule won three MTN8 titles and two Nedbank Cups.
The winger claimed the PSL Goal of the Season award in 2018/19 for a stunning strike against Polokwane City at Orlando Stadium.
