Sizekhaya Holdings officially took over operations as South Africa’s fourth national lottery operator on June 1, 2026.
The transition from the previous operator, Ithuba Holdings, marks the beginning of an eight-year, R180 billion tender awarded in partnership with the National Lotteries Commission (NLC).
