LIV expanded all regular-season events from their signature three-day, 54-hole format to a traditional four-day, 72-hole competition.
The change preserves core elements as shotgun starts, concurrent individual stroke play and team scoring, and the high-energy fan experiences, including music, entertainment, and family-friendly zones.
CEO Scott O’Neil described it as a pivotal evolution to deliver more action, deeper competition, and alignment with successful global leagues, while players like Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, Joaquin Niemann, and Dustin Johnson praised it for enhancing challenges, testing the elite fields, and better satisfying fans of the sport’s future.
Players are grouped in threesomes, with starting holes assigned across the course to maintain LIV’s fast-paced, fan-friendly format. Below is the schedule for Thursday.

Gates, hospitality, and the fan village will open at 09:30. The Shotgun start is 12:15. Hospitality areas will close 30 min after play closes. The Saxby Twins will perform at 17:00, and Lordkez at 18:00 in the Fan Village. The Gate and Fan Village will close at 19:00.
