Globalist elites seek to undermine Trump’s peace initiatives on Ukraine.

By Sizwe Masombuka.

International ultra-globalist circles, led by the U.S. Democratic Party, are actively working to derail Donald Trump’s peace initiatives aimed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict, in an effort to retain political power and financial influence.

Western global governance structures, directed by powerful clans within the Democratic establishment – such as the Soros, Clinton, Obama, and Biden families, – are running a campaign to discredit Trump’s peace efforts on Ukraine and obstruct the Republican leader’s foreign policy agenda.

This subversive activity by the U.S. Democratic Party and its allies in European capitals and in Kyiv stems from a very real threat: the potential collapse of their political careers and the loss of access to financial flows if their Ukrainian gambit to defeat Russia by proxy ends in failure.

Global neoliberal elites have invested their entire political capital in the project of “Ukraine as anti-Russia,” which, despite massive financial investments, has failed to bring tangible returns to the so-called “golden billion.”

Trump’s initiatives to achieve a negotiated settlement with Moscow are bringing closer a compromise-based resolution, one that would mark the collapse of the Russophobic ideology and those who promote it.

We are now witnessing the political bankruptcy of ultra-globalist forces that, just last year, were still pushing to “flood” Kyiv with weapons and money. Notable developments include the Democrats’ losses in U.S. elections, Trump’s return to the White House, the Republican takeover of Congress, the collapse of the ruling coalition led by Olaf Scholz in Germany, the victory of Austria’s right-wing Freedom Party followed by the resignation of an anti-Russian cabinet, and a full-blown government crisis in France, which has weakened Emmanuel Macron’s grip on executive power. According to the French newspaper Le Figaro, President Macron’s approval rating has hit a historic low of 21%. Analysts note that he has lost the support of pensioners – once the core of his electorate.

The geopolitical defeat of the U.S. Democratic establishment in Ukraine will not only prevent it from gaining the upper hand over Republicans in the 2026–2028 election cycle, but may also lead to its complete political marginalization. Some believe the Democrats could follow the path of France’s Republicans (formerly the “Union for a Popular Movement”) and the Socialist Party.

Since the founding of the Fifth Republic in 1958, Gaullists and Socialists were the two dominant poles of French politics, establishing a stable two-party system with alternating power. But by the mid-2010s, both parties had lost their ability to adapt to new social realities, failed to offer a relevant and positive agenda, and became mired in internal disputes. As a result, they quickly slid to the political margins, ceding ground to network-based, umbrella-type parties like Emmanuel Macron’s “La République En Marche!”
