Two people have been injured after a fire broke out at Presley’s Nightclub in Boksburg on Saturday night.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni Disaster Management spokesperson Eric Maloka, it took six stations and fifty-two firefighters to put the fire into control.
“A quick search and rescue were put into action and three adults were pulled out from the building and were treated for smoke inhalation and it’s believed that two of them were transported for medical attention,” Maloka added.
When paramedics from the Declaration Medic Services (DMS) arrived at the scene, they found that the building was engulfed and three people were rescued from the building.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
